The Organising Committee - OC of the East Africa Art Biennale 2011 invites you to participate to the 5th edition of the biennale to take place in November 2011 in Dar-es-Salaam.
If the funding received allows it, we intend to travel after Dar-es-Salaam, and show the East Africa Art Biennale 2011 in Arusha, Nairobi, Kampala, Kigali and Bujumbura.
The artworks to be submitted to the biennale OC must fulfill the following criteria:
1. All media are accepted (Painting, collage, photography, wooden/metal/recycled material sculpture, installation, video art, textile art,....);
2. Artworks must be produced recently (That is after August 1, 2010) and show new developments in the artist's style ;
3. Artworks must have been produced in the spirit of the biennale 2011 theme: "One people, One destiny";
4. The OC must receive the application form (See attachment) completed and signed with the digital high definition images and description of the artworks submitted to the biennale, before December 31, 2010.
