WELCOME TO THE 4^th VISA 2 DANCE FESTIVAL OF DAR ES SALAAM !

TANZANIA'S INTERNATIONAL PLATFORM FOR CONTEMPORARY DANCE

Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, USA, Netherlands, France, Italy, Sweden, Germany and Denmark

DAR ES SALAAM Public performances: 

Diamond Jubilee Hall, Upanga

 

Dates:

Thursday 7 October, Friday 8 0ctober and Saturday 9 October 2010

-Doors open at 7pm. Show starts at 7.30pm

Tickets:

At the entrance or in advance from the Alliance francaise and Makutano house.

Price: 10,000 tzs; students and persons under 26 years 3,000 tzs

Festival pass for all three evenings: 25,000 tzs

 

Visa 2 Dance bar lounge:

The bar lounge – a meeting place for the public and artists.

Opens 7-11pm every evening.

Public Dance workshops

Age: 16 years and above

Saturday 9 October 2010

2 classes: 10-12am and 2-4pm

Venue: Russian Cultural Centre, large room.

Price per class: 15,000 tzs (payment at the door)

 

Visual Art exhibition

Group exhibition by Tanzanian artists at the Diamond Jubilee during the three days of performances.
